New Character – Castorice
Exciting news with the introduction of a new character: Castorice!
Castorice is a remarkable 5-star character embodying the quantum element and following the path of remembrance.
Background
In the mystical land of Aidonia, known for its eternal snowfall and reverence for death, a new chapter unfolds. Castorice, the daughter of the river of souls and the heir of Chrysos, embarks on a quest for the elusive “death” coreflame. This journey calls for the protection of the lamenting souls, embracing the solitude that fate brings. Life and death intertwine as a journey; when a butterfly rests upon a branch, what once withered is destined to bloom again.
Combat Role
As a DPS character, Castorice commands the summoned memosprite known as “Netherwing: Pollux.” This sprite employs its own health points to unleash powerful attacks on foes. The damage dealt increases with the amount of health consumed. Additionally, during battles, the memosprite serves as a shield, absorbing damage meant for vulnerable allies.
Skills
The reveal stream showcased a variety of abilities for Castorice:
- The memosprite can unleash potent attacks by sacrificing its health, with players having the option to determine how much health is sacrificed for greater damage output.
- A unique talent of the memosprite ensures that allies are safeguarded from death, provided they receive healing within one turn after their health drops to zero.
- Upon exiting the battlefield, the memosprite inflicts damage on all enemies while simultaneously restoring health to all allies.
Notably, Castorice introduces a groundbreaking global passive ability. Even if she is not part of the current team, players who have obtained her can activate her ‘cheat death’ feature. This ability grants a character facing imminent death a chance to survive, likely usable once per battle.

As a damage dealer, Anaxagoras excels at inflicting various weaknesses on his adversaries in quick succession. His unique ability allows him to trigger a skill that requires no skill points when targeting foes with multiple weaknesses. Furthermore, his ultimate skill can instantly apply seven different weaknesses to all enemies simultaneously.

New Characters and Rewards Update

In the latest update, Seele, Blade, and Fu Xuan have been added as 'standard' characters.
However, this change is primarily for the purpose of impacting the 50/50 mechanics on the existing character rate-up banners.
It's important to note that you still cannot acquire these characters from either the beginner or standard banners.
In addition, anniversary rewards were also discussed during the stream, adding excitement for players.
Celebration rewards for the anniversary include:
- A total of 20 enhanced rate-up tickets
- 1600 jades to enhance your gameplay
- 10 units of fuel for your adventures
- Double top-up refresh options
- A complimentary limited character for all players
Players will be presented with an exciting opportunity to secure either Ruan Mei or Luocha at no cost.
This event is set to take place from patch 3.2 to 3.4 .
Although the shop will be a permanent feature, you must log in between these patches to collect a unique currency called the golden companion spirit . This currency is essential for claiming either Ruan Mei or Luocha for free.
New players are also included in this promotion; they simply need to achieve account level 4 to participate.
An intriguing aspect of this offer is that the golden companion spirit does not need to be spent on Ruan Mei or Luocha . Players have the option to save it for future limited characters that will be introduced in the shop.

It’s particularly designed for those who invest more into the game, and importantly, this currency will be retroactive . So, if you happen to have already pulled an E10 Bailu, you will be rewarded with the special currency once patch 3.2 is released.
But that's not all; the shop will also feature limited light cones from characters such as Ruan Mei, Luocha, Fu Xuan, Blade, and Seele .
To purchase these light cones, players will need Light Cone Memory Shards , which can be earned in three ways:
- Participate in a special event during patch 3.2, which will reward you with 4 Light Cone Memory Shards—enough to acquire one limited light cone.
- The base battle pass, named Nameless Glory , offers 1 Light Cone Memory Shard.
- The upgraded battle pass, called Nameless Medal , also provides 1 Light Cone Memory Shard.
This means that for every four paid battle passes , players can collect enough shards to obtain one limited light cone . For those opting for the upgraded battle pass, this is reduced to every two battle passes .
Unfortunately, the free battle pass will not include access to this new currency.
